The Oppenheimer 2025 Walkathon is just around the corner. This will be our very first fundraising event of the 2025–2026 school year, and we’re kicking things off with energy and school spirit! The Walkathon is a fun, school-wide event where students walk, run, or roll to help raise funds that will upgrade classroom technology and boost literacy resources for our early learners. Our school receives limited funding from the Vancouver School Board. Your help will truly make a difference in enriching our children’s learning environment! Let’s come together as a community to support our school and make this event a huge success!
How You Can Help
1. Sponsor a student: Every step counts! Support your child or a classmate by pledging a donation. Donations can be made online (https://tinyurl.com/OppenheimerWalkathon), by cash or cheque payable to David Oppenheimer PAC. Cheque or online donations are preferred. Only donations made online will be accompanied by a tax receipt. No tax receipts will be provided for cash or cheque donations.
2. Spread the Word: Share our fundraising page with family, friends, and colleagues. Please help us reach our fundrasiing goal!
3. Join Us on Walkathon Day: Parents, grandparents, caregivers, and friends are encouraged to participate and walk alongside the students. Be a part of the fun and show your support!
4. Volunteer: We need helping hands for setup, cheering stations, safety supervision, and more. It's a great way to get involved and connect with our school community.
To make it even more exciting, we’ll have prizes for students and their classes. This event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of our amazing school spirit, community, and supporting our children’s education. Whether you donate, volunteer, walk, or cheer, your involvement helps make this event a success.
