Dear Parents & Guardians,
Welcome back to another school year at Oppenheimer, and to all the new Kindergarten parents, we are so happy to have your little ones join us. Due to COVID, we will be continuing our PAC meetings via Zoom. For those of you who have not attended before, every PAC meeting includes an update from our principal, Hope Sterling. And since the meetings are being offered via Zoom, there's an opportunity to listen in as you go about the things that need doing at home in the evenings.
The agenda for this and all meetings along with zoom details are usually emailed to the Oppenheimer school community the week of our PAC meeting.
Thank you to the new members who have stepped in with the PAC. In these crazy times we are looking to create as much simplicity and normalcy to school life as possible and you are all an invaluable part of that family. While this school year definitely looks different we still need and welcome parent involvement to enrich the school experience and support our teachers/staff at Oppenheimer Elementary.
We look forward to meeting you on Zoom.
Here are the upcoming dates for your calendar

Munch a Lunch
Munch a Lunch – Lunch in the time of Covid...
As you probably have guessed the Munch a Lunch program has been suspended, but we are working on ideas for the coming school year. We have to wait for the green light from VSB and will keep you posted.
Thank you for your support!
Have you returned your CASL form?
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (‘CASL’) came into effect on July 1, 2014. This means the PAC will require your permission and consent to send you emails, electronic newsletters, etc. In order for you to receive PAC information via email, please complete your form and return it to your child’s classroom teacher as soon as possible.

WAIT! Don't throw it away!!
Please help us by hanging on to your recyclables. We are in the process of setting up a school account at Return It Bottle Depot so that we will be able to continue fundraising without collecting bottles at the school. You will be able to conveniently drop off your recyclables at any Return It location.
Welcome to our PAC!
