Hello Oppenheimer parents,
We wanted to give you an update on a number of PAC initiatives that have changed due to COVID-19.
By the direction of VSB, this event is canceled for this school year. We had explored the possibility of bags being dropped off directly to the Boys and Girls Club collection center but they too are closed until further notice due to the virus. Therefore, this fundraiser is canceled for this school year.
By the direction of VSB, this event is canceled for this school year. We have canceled all rentals and other bookings and are sad that our largest fundraiser for this year will not be going forward.
With schooling being in a state of transition until mid-April, the April 8th PAC meeting has been canceled. However, we will be attempting to set up a virtual meeting for our May 13th PAC meeting.
Credits for the month of April are being processed. Until we hear more definitive announcements from the VSB regarding the length of out-of-school schooling, credits will be happening on a month to month basis.

Are you looking for a reliable sitter? Do you need help with drop offs or pick-ups? Please feel free to post your information under the, "Parent Helping Parent", heading on the PAC Bulletin Board by the office. Include the date and all the necessary information for another parent to contact you and help you out. PAC will take care of refreshing the postings every month. Happy posting!
Munch a Lunch
Munch a Lunch – Session for 2019
The next Munch a Lunch session opens on Saturday, November 30th. The next session runs from Wednesday, December 11th until Friday, March 4th. Where possible, please place all your orders in one transaction, as that reduces the transaction fees, which means more funds are saved for our students.

To all those ordering: if you miss the deadline (happens to all of us), a kind reminder that there’s another offering the next week. To meet the deadline, orders must be received AND PAID FOR seven days in advance. Thank you to everyone for your support!To our devoted group of grade 7 volunteers and army of parent volunteers, thank you for making yourself available to help! There are sign up sheets on the PAC bulletin board if you are free Fridays from 11:45-12:45 to help.

We are always looking for volunteers for hot lunch days. If you are able to help out, please contact email@example.com to sign up.
Have you returned your CASL form?
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (‘CASL’) came into effect on July 1, 2014. This means the PAC will require your permission and consent to send you emails, electronic newsletters, etc. In order for you to receive PAC information via email, please complete your form and return it to your child’s classroom teacher as soon as possible.
