We started in February with donation receipts going home, a successful bottle drive from January. As planning begins for our annual Spring Fair for May 25th. We stand up for bullying by wearing a Pink Shirts on Feb 28th.
We realize that there are a lot of paper forms that go home with students. Please note that throughout the year, any PAC related notice will be printed on yellow paper. This avoids confusion in determine if the event is a school event or a PAC event. We'll do our best to keep you informed.
Spring Fair 2018 – Volunteer & Silent Auction Donations
To help ensure a successful fair, we are reaching out to Oppenheimer families who may wish to contribute items for our popular silent auction. It can be new items from home, or products and service from your business, or your friend’s business. General merchandise, gift certificates, service package, sports equipment, new clothing, toys and housewares are all appreciated and add to the diversity of our silent auction.
We are also looking for parents or guardians who are interested in helping us plan for the fair. A general call letter for adult volunteers will be sent home after spring break.
If you are interested in donating an item for silent auction or volunteering, please contact Linda at email@example.com.
Please donate your empty bottles to support the Grade 7’s on the following dates. Drop off bottles in front of the school, where the Grade 7’s will help load them into a truck. Bottles will be then be taken in for return. Donations will be taken before and after school during these times.

Spring Clothing Drive
Start packing your extra clothes, linen, housewares, toys, books…for our Cash4Clothes Spring clothing drive. This event raises funds to support school activities that directly benefit each student. The more bags you bring equals more funds raised. Our goal is one FULL bag or more from each student.
Please drop off your bags on Mon. Apr 9th & Tues. Apr 10th before school (Truck will pick up on Wednesday morning.)
Simply leave the bags outside your child’s classroom along the wall in the morning. Bag and notice will go home with the students before Spring Break. Extra empty bags will be available in front of school office.
Also, if you have an extra hour to spare on the clothing drive mornings, please meet us at school in front of the office. We can use your help to move, sort and count all the bags. Feel free to contact Sue Clarke at email@example.com for more information.

Our school PAC is set up with Munch-a-Lunch where parents can order Pizza, Subway sandwiches and Kernels Popcorn on-line. Family accounts from last year remain active. Returning parents can simply log on, update their teacher/classroom information for each of their children and then order as you did before. New families to Oppenheimer can click on the green icon and follow the step by step instruction to set up an account. Our lunch program provides a break to the parents and offers a nutritious lunch option that the students enjoy. Funds raised from our lunch program goes towards the students by way of enhancing resources for the school. Thank you.
*** Please note: If possible, please place orders for all available dates in one transaction. This will cut down transaction fees, and help keep more profits for our students. Thanks.
