we could really use your help!

There are lots of activities and events at our school, so there are many opportunities to volunteer.  Whether it is helping to wash fruit for our fruit and veggie program, handing out pizza and Subway sandwiches to the students on pizza day & Subway day, taking photos at events for the yearbook, or supervising the bouncy castle at the Spring Fair, it takes volunteers to make it all possible. 

Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, influence the school environment, and support students, teachers and school administrators. 

Most volunteer positions on committees can be shared, so if you and a friend would like to work together — you’re welcome to do so!

Areas we are looking for help now:

Picture
Lunch Helpers for Pizza Days and Subway days (more volunteers needed)
Pick up and distribute Pizza, sandwiches & Drinks to students on Pizza & Subway days.
     Commitment:  30 minutes each Pizza & Subway Day between 11:45 – 12:15
     Duration: Sept - June

Fruit & Veggie + milk Helpers (more volunteers needed)
Wash, sort & deliver the fruit, veggie and milk for each class on specified days
     Commitment: 1  hour each fruit, veggie and milk between 9:00am  – 10:00am
     Duration: now - June

Yearbook - Photographers or Graphic Layout designers
Our school yearbook is filled with snapshots of activities during the year and all the pictures are taken and put together by parents just like you.  You don’t need to be a professional photographer or Photoshop wizard, although professional talent is always welcome!  We do ask that only clear pictures with good resolution are submitted, as fuzzy, dark or low resolution pictures will not be usable.  For more info on the Yearbook, please visit the yearbook section.
     Commitment: contribute photos to the yearbook or to help with compiling the pages
     Duration: now – end of May

Other events coming up that will require more volunteers may include Popcorn Sales, Movie nights, Clothing Drive and Spring Fair just to mention a few.   Call letters for volunteers will be announced closer to the date of the events.
